What is Paintless Dent Removal?
PDR is the process of removing cosmetic dents from vehicle body panels by carefully pushing, pulling & tapping the metal back into place. This is done by using specially designed hand tools and equipment.
What types of damage can and can’t be repaired?
Typical repairs are small car park dings, shopping trolley dents and small creases. We continuously invest in the latest tools and equipment allowing us to tackle larger or more complicated dents. So long as there is no paint damage and the metal is not too badly stretched, we can restore body panel 100%.
Sometimes a dent may not be repairable using PDR. Restricted or no access to the back of the panel, the position of the dent may be too close to something structural or a panel edge, also if the metal is too badly stretched to be able to restore are all factors that may prevent a repair.
PDR cannot repair paint damage, scuffs, scratches, chips or collision damage; these may require a visit to a traditional bodyshop for assessment.
Will the repair be completely invisible?
In all of our repairs we aim for perfection and in most cases, this is achieved. If the metal is overstretched or access to the dent is poor, a flawless repair may not be possible.
We will always be transparent with the customer about the expected outcome and are happy to discuss options to suit. Any technician that boasts a 100% repair all of the time is either being untruthful or just picking the easy jobs!
Can you repair scuffs, scratches or chips?
We don’t offer a painting, scratch or chip repair service. However, we are happy to repair a dented area where anything missing can be touched in by the customer. We can also repair dents in preparation for a bodyshop repair (push for paint) to minimise the amount of filler or possibly saving the cost of a new panel.
- What are the benefits of PDR?
- The cost can be significantly less expensive than a tradition fill and paint repair
- You keep the original factory paint finish and it will not affect any warranty on the bodywork.
- Most repairs take less than 1 hour and can be arranged at a time to suit you, so no time without your vehicle
- Retain the true value of your vehicle. There’s no need to be knocked down if selling or charged additional fees if/when returning a lease
- Keep your graphics. If you have a company vehicle, in most cases there’s no need to remove any vinyl signwriting

What are the benefits of PDR?
How much will it cost?
There are many factors which effect the cost of a repair, the size, shape, position etc. We aim to offer a good value, cost effective solution and also offer discounts on multiple dents. For small dents up to 50mm, we may be able to give quotations and offer a mobile service just by seeing photos, larger dents may require a full inspection at our dedicated garage in Verwood before an accurate quote can be given, the repair may also need to carried out there. We use industry standard software to calculate repair costs.
These are some dent examples and price ranges that are just to give a rough idea of cost (we do not add VAT to our prices). For an accurate quotation, please contact us.
